About CPE

Central Plains Expo (CPE) is made up of representation from: 

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control & Epidemiology (APIC)-Wichita Chapter; Kansas Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management [KAHRMM); and Kansas
Society for Healthcare Central Service Professionals (KSHCSP). The CPE Board presents an annual educational conference and vendor fair geared toward staff and management in infection control, sterile processing, and materials management.

APIC

The Association for Practitioners in Infection Control and Epidemiology is the leading professional association for infection preventionists (IPs) with more than 14,000 members. Our mission is to create a safer world through the prevention of infection. This is achieved by the provision of better care to promote better health at a lower cost. Link

KAHRMM

The Kansas Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management is an organization open to persons professionally engaged in health care resource management, materials management, group purchasing organizations, other health care related settings and health care distribution and marketing or sales organizations, care distribution and marketing or sales organizations.

KSHCSP

 The Kansas Society for Healthcare Central Service Professionals (KSHCSP) is an organization available to persons that work in the central service and/or sterile processing field. Their mission is to advance the improvement of Central Service through the development of efficient, effective and economical education and training programs for Central Service.
